Learning outcomes of this lesson series
Content goals of this quest:
- At the end of the lesson series, the students can recognise cultural diversity.
- At the end of the lesson series, the students can demonstrate an understanding of the values, beliefs, customs, and traditions of different cultural groups within English-speaking countries.
- At the end of the lesson series, the students can demonstrate an ability to adapt and respond appropriately to unfamiliar cultural situations encountered within English-speaking countries.
- At the end of the lesson series, the students can apply cultural competence skills to navigate intercultural interactions.
The target group is a third year havo group, or any class which is aiming for the English language CEFR level of B1.
The lessons are designed to adjust to the group needs of competitiveness, realising the real life application of the material, and creativity.
